David H. Brugh is presently Owner and President of The Rogers Design Group, Limited and a member of The MasterMind Team Ltd. In that capacity, David's organization works with OEM's, Automotive Retailers and Service Providers in developing training and curriculum for the automotive retail market. The main focal point in the Group's development area is Workplace Adoption. His development techniques help to bridge the gap between implementation and process change. David uses a combination of traditional and online learning events, coupled with the appropriate media to produce a return-on-investment for both the client and student. David's thorough understanding of Adult and e-Learning principles have helped produce results for clients in his present capacity as well as his former endeavors.
In course development, David's team uses the Kirkpatrick model for training evaluation: Response, Learning, Behavior and Results. Surveys are a quick, post course measurement tool and while they serve an important need, David's course development philosophy concentrates on post course assessments in order to measure how much has remained with the learner sometimes months after the training course. Not only do these post course assessment identify refresher training needs, but, provide ample opportunity to asses the course's long term effectiveness with regard to behavioral change.
Prior to the Rogers Design Group, David served as director of Loyalty Management University. LMU was a Reynolds University offering through Reynolds and Reynolds. As director, David was responsible for managing curriculum that met the needs of automotive retailers. He served as a champion for developing educational opportunities that provided automotive retailers with a competitive edge both in serving their customers and running all areas of their business. The programs David developed were adjusted frequently to reflect industry trends and cutting-edge research.
David was responsible for both the marketing and delivering of automotive retail courses to dealership management and sales teams. He oversaw all the LMU campuses including those in Philadelphia, Dayton and Los Angeles.
David exhibits a high-energy personality. He's known for his thirst for information and gains traction toward action. David has 32 years of automotive industry experience. He started his career in sales and has served in the roles of finance manager, sales manager, used car manager, general manager and owner. He was an automotive dealer in Cleveland and Lorain, Ohio prior to joining the former HAC (Half A Car) Group. There David assisted the management of the Consulting business in the United Kingdom and was Director of European Operations.
